As a Production Supervisor at Donaldson Company, you will not only play a part in manufacturing products that impact lives, but also provide value and direction for production teams that help us work towards our aggressive company growth goals. In this role you will work on a variety of filtration products, as part of our Cresco, Iowa location.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates resources across one or more shifts to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while promoting a team environment and continuously improving all methods.

  • Monitors departmental and shift metrics, KPI's and drives performance of the shift to meet departmental and site needs.

  • Supervises and leads assigned production department(s)including assignment ofwork. Plans and reviews production operations.Establishes priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

  • Reviews production orders or schedules to ensure the manufacturing of products is completed and scheduled delivery dates are met.

  • Resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.

  • Evaluates, develops and ensures appropriate training processes are completed when employees move to different roles.Conducts, monitors, and evaluates training for new employees.

  • Conducts meetings and communications across functions and to employees, champions safety and quality, conducts projects, inspections, and audits as required.

  • Coaches operators on safety improvements, department inspections, safety surveys and follows up on safety issues. Promotes and implementsLean Manufacturing initiatives.

  • Auditing product quality for compliance with established systems and standards; implements corrective action as necessary.Maintainingquality certification requirements and initiatives.

  • Coachesemployees through the problem-solving process to identify problem. areasincluding manufacturing processes, reducing set up time, equipment problems and reducing scrap.

  • Resolves employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques, conducts crucial conversations, and conflict resolution on shift and demonstrates escalation and communication as appropriate.

  • Monitors attendance and performance, conducts on shift incident response and investigations, and administers coaching and corrective action as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required

  • 1+ years of production supervisory or lead experience.

  • General proficiency with Microsoft Suite

  • Support coverage on weekends or other shifts to cover for training, vacation and other business demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree

  • 5+ years of production supervisory or lead experience

  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, ERP systems, 6S, and Lean required. Experience with Workday/Oracle preferred.
