ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of equipment, materials, and components to project sites in line with contractual requirements and project schedules. This role acts as a critical link between procurement, suppliers, logistics providers, and operations. The position involves tracking shipments, requesting documentation from suppliers, and reporting status from origin to destination-proactively identifying and resolving delays or risks in coordination with Operations. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on manufacturing and delivery progress with suppliers
- Develop and manage the project's logistics and expedition plan in close collaboration with procurement and construction teams
- Ensure all materials are delivered in accordance with project milestones and contractual delivery dates
- Communicate daily with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments
- Monitor and manage transport documentation (B/L, packing lists, customs clearance, certificates of origin, O&M manuals, etc.)
- Maintain updated shipping and delivery tracking logs
- Support expediting visits and inspections when required
- Proactively identify and report risks that may affect timely deliveries
- Coordinate with customs brokers and transport providers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations
- Interface with project planners and site logistics teams to align deliveries with construction needs
- Prepare and compile complete final documentation folders from suppliers for internal and client use
Requirements
Experience/Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience with international shipments is a plus
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, transportation regulations, and customs procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily indoors
