DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for managing an automotive parts and tools storeroom, ensuring that garage and field personnel have controlled access to necessary repair parts and specialized tools. You will maintain an inventory of frequently used items such as filters, belts, fittings, hardware, fluids, and tires, adhering to established inventory levels. Additionally, you will oversee the storage and issuance of specialized equipment for garage and field staff, and based on usage data, you will recommend adjustments to reorder points. Your duties will also include preparing requisition forms for parts room supplies and assisting with physical inventory counts in line with established policies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
