Biostatistics Senior Analyst

Biostatistics Senior Analyst in the Division of Hematology who consults and collaborates in medical research and multi-disciplinary team environment; coordinates, conducts, and interprets analyses of biomedical research projects using descriptive statistics, basic inferential tests and advanced statistical procedures for the Leukemia and Other Myeloid Diseases Cancer Biology Group; responsible for the requirements of the Leukemia section, and who will participate in clinical research activities of Division of Hematology and Oncology, Comprehensive
Cancer Center (CCC), James Cancer Hospital and Research Institutes (CHRI); analyzes genomic data from lymphoma studies and presents results; authors, edits and assists in preparation of articles, proposals and reports for publication; provides statistical consultations and designs statistical computations; oversees computerized data management and analysis systems; plans, designs, implements and maintains data management systems; develops statistical methodology; may plan and conduct special educational programs and seminars as requested by various training programs of College of Medicine and/or Departments in College of Medicine.

Required QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in biostatistics/statisticsor related field required. 4 years of relevant experience required; proficiency with statistical software (especially SAS and/or R) preferred; experience working with large datasets preferred; experience with medical research preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check qualified. Candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
