Join us as our new Automation Engineer
You will have the opportunity to provide operational support for plant process control including but not limited to ABB 800xA , stand-alone controllers(Allen-Bradley PLC/HIM), and OSI PI. You will execute programming and configuration changes to control systems and PI as well as provide instrumentation support.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Designing and executing new programming for the digital control system and programmable logic controllers for the site and capital projects.
• Maintaining automation infrastructure (distributed control system, programmable logic controllers, and human machine interface) for use at a major production facility.
• Supporting site personnel from an automation standpoint and designing cutting edge tools for a more efficient workflow.
• Reviewing new capital projects and communicate automation and control requirements that live up to industry standards and best practices.
• Independently performing basic programming optimization
• Apply LEAN methodology to problem solving within a group setting.
• Providing support and assistance within the global Novozymes automation network.

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field
• Excellent programming skills in one or more different languages (i.e. python, C++, Matlab, Java)
• Prior experience programing within ABB 800xA, stand-along control systems (Allen Bradley PLC/HMI), and data historians systems (i.e. OSIsoft) is a plus
• Knowledge of hardware for Distributed Controls System network and programmable logic controllers
• Intermediate project management skills is a plus
• Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent solve problems skills, LEAN experience is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

Expected Salary Range: $75,000 to $97,000 based on experience
