HOURLY RATE: $21.85 **Eligible for quarterly bonus and overtime

SUMMARY:

Works in a two person team. Assembles encased cil type mattress units by attaching sides/ends and bottom to encased coil unit using a glue gun and/or hog rings. Operator also installs FR socks to the hybrid style units or other duties assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Moves the spring portion of the mattress on and off table and onto cart.
• Glues foam or fabric topper and side rails to units.
• Must wear safety glasses and arm sleeves to protect from hot glue
• Maintains clean work area and follows proper safety procedures
• Refills glue pot as needed throughout the day.
• Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Continuous walking and standing during entire shift (standing at workstation, walking short distances)
• Frequent lifting of mattresses, up to 60 pounds, on worktable and from workstation to cart, usually from waist to shoulder height.
• Warehouse environment can be noisy, with temperatures matching outside.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work overtime with little notice.
• Occasional Saturday work may be required.
