We are on the lookout for a dynamic Payroll Specialist to ensure the seamless preparation, disbursement, and processing of payroll across multiple states! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for precision, we want YOU! What You'll Do: Deliver Excellence: Provide accurate and timely payroll services for both non-exempt and exempt employees across various states. Your attention to detail will ensure every paycheck is perfect! Analyze & Balance: Dive into payroll data supplied by managers, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You'll process payroll, review reports, and distribute them promptly-keeping our team informed and satisfied! Streamline Processes: Review workflows for new hires, changes, and terminations to maintain accuracy in our multi-state operations. Your organizational skills will shine as you compile and input vital payroll data! Verify & Validate: Ensure employee personal data and work-related changes-like promotions, terminations, and bonuses-are accurately reflected. Your keen eye will keep our records impeccable! Train & Empower: Assist in training managers on payroll systems and their responsibilities. Share your knowledge and help others succeed! Resolve Discrepancies: Research, analyze, and resolve any payroll discrepancies, reporting findings to management. Your problem-solving skills will keep us on track! Audit Participation: Be an integral part of our end-of-month closing audits, ensuring everything is in order and compliant with all legal and institutional regulations. Stay Informed: Keep your expertise sharp on federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations, ensuring all processed information is accurate and compliant. Innovate: Identify payroll service solutions to enhance our delivery to employees. Your recommendations for process improvements will help us stay ahead of the curve!
