We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Representative to join our team at our Wheeling, IL headquarters. Key Responsibilities * Manage and support customer accounts to drive satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability. * Process customer requests including quotes, order entry, delivery updates, and follow-ups. * Resolve customer issues, process returns, and handle credit/debit adjustments. * Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met. * Maintain and monitor pricing and inventory agreements. * Provide administrative and logistical support to the outside sales team. * Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently. * Maintain accurate documentation to support decisions and ensure service continuity. * Handle 50-75 complex orders with multiple line items on a regular basis. * Participate in a rotating phone support schedule, managing approximately 45 calls per day when assigned. * Use a headset for incoming calls routed directly to your desk; manage availability for breaks and non-call tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Haves: * Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing sales support or customer service. * Strong product knowledge and ability to manage technical information. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with ERP systems and order entry processes. Nice-to-Haves: * Experience with QAD ERP software. * Familiarity with CRM systems and KPI tracking. Additional Information * Team Environment: Support both domestic and international clients as part of the Power Transmission Team. * Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. * Attendance Policy: Strict punctuality is required. A 5-point system is enforced-being late by even one minute results in a point. Accumulating 5 points may result in termination.
