Google Workspace Solution Engineer: You will use your knowledge and experience to help drive our Google Workspace design and technology delivery. We are looking for a person who has the right mindset to be a part of an elite team of engineers and architects focused on making our businesses successful. You must possess a unique blend of deep technical and customer facing skills. Be an out of the box thinker and able to directly engage with all technology stakeholders - security, compliance, data, user experience, business, governance, service validation, support, and operations. The role is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approaches across end-to-end technology stacks within Google Workspace. This individual will lead single or multiple teams to deliver trusted, timely, and secure engineering design solutions that meet business outcomes and enterprise architecture. This role will be engaged in development and production environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues within and across technology stacks on an end-to-end basis. This individual will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains. The individual will also demonstrate the ability to decompose issues or objectives into units of work that can be assigned to other team members. Other key responsibilities of the role include creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards. This individual will advocate and advance more efficient solution delivery practices and evangelize great design, engineering and organizational practices. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to understand technical solutions and to provide the performance capabilities required in the application across the technology stacks provided by peer engineering Leads Mentor solution engineer resources on performance evaluation and validation methods and tools Participate in solution-driven discussions, contribute to the design of large or highly complex architectural designs, and find creative solutions using knowledge of the domain and operational constraints Ensure that execution aligns with product strategy by working with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders Contribute to the technology strategy for their technical domain Mentor and guide more junior engineers ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards Lead various Communities of Practice (COPs) within the organization *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
