Performance Team handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Shift Schedule: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday -Friday (Some weekends)

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Company Harbor Driver Manager to oversee and support our team of company drivers performing drayage operations at the port. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant driver performance, optimizing dispatch operations, and maintaining high service levels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driver Management:

    • Supervise and support company harbor (port) drivers in daily operations.

    • Monitor driver performance and conduct coaching, training, and corrective action as needed.

    • Manage driver schedules, time off requests, and ensure DOT compliance.

    • Conduct daily check-ins and post-trip reviews to ensure operational and safety standards.

  • Operational Oversight:

    • Coordinate with dispatch and port operations to ensure timely container pickups and deliveries.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to port congestion, equipment availability, and driver delays.

    • Monitor GPS and ELD systems to ensure route efficiency and compliance.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Enforce company safety policies and DOT regulations.

    • Ensure all drivers complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections properly.

    • Coordinate with safety and maintenance departments for vehicle servicing and incident investigations.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Track driver productivity, fuel efficiency, and detention/demurrage times.

    • Prepare and analyze reports on operational KPIs and develop strategies for improvement.

    • Maintain accurate driver logs, incident records, and performance documentation.

  • Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding schedules, load assignments, and issues.

    • Liaise with customer service, port authorities, and dispatch to streamline operations.

    • Communicate any delays, exceptions, or service failures promptly and effectively.

Pay Range:

$78,000-$80,000

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
