The Role
Presidio is looking for a Sales Director in our Cloud Services organization to join our expanding team and cover our SLED business. The SLED Sales Director is a role with national responsibility and owns their territory. They are responsible for developing and executing a Cloud Services sale strategy across SLED, management of sales reps, acquisition of new customers, and management/growth of existing customers. You are expected to coach and develop your sales team, achieve quarterly revenue targets against an annual quota, and grow revenue in new and existing accounts.

Travel:

The successful candidate must be willing to travel 25% of the time on average for a mix of customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage a national sales team focused on the SLED vertical at Presidio.
  • Create and execute a SLED strategy for our cloud services business focused on bookings and revenue growth.
  • Help shape SLED specific Digital services offerings to drive market penetration and new customer adoption.
  • Understands SLED market cloud/digital trends and drives seller enablement to capture market opportunity.
  • Collaborates with capture team on RFP targeting and response.
  • Assist sales team in cultivating a keen understanding of clients' pain points, business models, and desired outcomes - and be dedicated to exceeding their expectations.
  • Track and manage team performance and revenue metrics
  • Partner with Presidio core sales leadership in SLED to drive sales team enablement and cloud portfolio revenue growth
  • Work collaboratively with our cloud partners to identify and develop new opportunities and improve Presidio's overall alignment to partner's desired outcomes.
  • Develop deep, strategic senior executive relationships with our customers and partners.
  • Drive client retention, growth, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Work with our delivery team on proposal creation and manage customer expectations throughout the sales process.
  • Manage customer activity within SalesForce.com for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issue.


Required Skills and Professional Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level. The credibility, technical knowledge, and maturity necessary to give high-quality input and presentations is a must
  • 10+ years' sales experience, ideally with 2+ years' experience selling consulting services in the SLED vertical.
  • 7+ years' sales leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of SLED buying contracts, budgeting cycles, and sub-vertical industry events.
  • Extensive knowledge of the public cloud market
  • Extensive knowledge of the professional services market around software development, modern data platforms, and digital transformations.
  • Understanding of AWS and Microsoft go to market and funding programs are essential.


Desired Skills and Professional Experience:



  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams
  • Experience with Salesforce.com strongly desired.
  • Formal sales training, i.e. Sandler, SPIN, Challenger Seller, etc. is a big plus.
