As an Assembler , you will play a crucial role in assembling electronic components for high-stakes aerospace and defense applications. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Perform SMT and through-hole hand soldering operations under a microscope in compliance with Mil-Specs, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards
  • Carry out mechanical assembly operations using standard hand tools, torque drivers, and best practices to assemble electronic components and systems
  • Inspect and verify solder joints, assemblies, and wire terminations to meet quality and workmanship standards; perform rework as needed
  • Follow ESD procedures and maintain proper handling of sensitive electronic components
  • Ensure organization, cleanliness, and safety of workbench and surrounding manufacturing areas
  • Adhere to build documentation, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions throughout the process
  • Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional efforts to meet production goals and timelines
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience working as an electronic assembler.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions from process sheets, blueprints, routing cards, and technical drawings, including ECOs, parts lists, and PRNs.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in hand soldering SMT and through-hole components under a microscope
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, and Mil-Spec requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Hourly Range: Principal Assembler: $22.96 - $33.32 (Lansdale, PA). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
