Driver Supervisor

Role Overview: As a Driver Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting a team of approximately 10 drivers. Reporting to the PDC Manager, you will ensure that company policies and procedures are followed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Driving Duties: Complete assigned driving tasks as needed.
• Team Observation: Monitor your team to ensure proper training and adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, safety procedures, and operational processes. Report any concerns to the Transportation Manager.
• Training: Assist in training or re-training team members on procedures and processes.
• Feedback: Share team feedback on route or delivery concerns and suggest improvements.
• Ride-Alongs: Conduct ride-alongs and re-training sessions on safety items and corrective actions as requested.
• Incident Review: Collaborate with the Transportation Manager, Operations Manager, PDC Manager, and HSSE Manager to review incidents such as accidents, injuries, spills, security issues, and unsafe conditions.
• Productivity Improvement: Help assess and improve team productivity and efficiency to achieve goals.
• Safety Meetings: Contribute to content development and communication in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• PPE Monitoring: Ensure team members use proper PPE and represent the company professionally in uniform.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is used and maintained to WKC standards.
• Liaison: Act as a liaison between your team and management.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

• Prior fuels and/or lubes driver experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• DOT and Hazardous training and experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proven driver safety record.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of US DOT regulations.
• Expertise in product loading, transport, and delivery procedures.
