Responsibilities: Design electrical control systems in accordance with customer specifications. Select and specify drives, control components, and sensors appropriate to each project. Create detailed electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Collaborate with electrical subcontractors to develop and test integrated electrical components. Design wiring systems for power distribution, control, and equipment monitoring in both standard and hazardous environments. Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for various types of equipment. Supervise assembly and equipment testing at the facility. Troubleshoot electrical control and monitoring systems during both in-house testing and on-site installations. Provide clear documentation and hands-on support to assembly teams to maintain quality and schedule. Participate in design reviews to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate project documentation for internal and customer records. Respond to production and startup issues with technical support. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and on time. Provide occasional on-site technical support for installations or troubleshooting (some travel required). Qualifications: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology required. Preferred Skills and Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a foundation in electrical system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drafting. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. A hands-on approach and practical mindset are highly valued. |
