As a Technical Program Manager at Nokia, you'll lead the charge in delivering mission-critical 3GPP systems, including User Equipment (UE), gNB (RAN), and the Mission Control Center (MCC). - Lead and oversee the execution of software and hardware development programs for critical 3GPP components in space communications.
- Coordinate across engineering, integration, and operations teams to ensure project delivery aligns with performance, availability, and reliability goals.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and interdependencies using standard project management tools to maintain timelines and quality standards.
- Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues, proactively implementing solutions to mitigate impacts.
- Facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective multi-domain system integration.
- Track project progress and reporting status, risks, and achievements to stakeholders for transparency and alignment.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance development efficiency and reduce project timelines.
- Foster a culture of strong communication and teamwork, guiding cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience managing or coordinating telecom projects with exposure to RAN, Packet Core, User Equipment, and end-to-end system integration
- Understanding of telecom project lifecycles and network deployment processes
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence)
It would be nice if you also had:
- Familiarity with 3GPP standards, network architecture, and telecom OAM practices
- Experience working in high-availability, low-latency system contexts
- Knowledge of integration, testing, and performance validation for telecom systems
- Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile)
