Internal Auditor of Retail Sales - Oracle (CONTRACT)

Compensation: $75-$95/hr


Project Start Date : Mid-July
Estimated duration : 3-6 months

The Role: Internal Auditor with Oracle Retail Sales Audit experience, particularly focused on IT General Controls (ITGC), involves evaluating and testing the effectiveness of IT controls that support the integrity and security of financial and operational data processed within the Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) system.
  • ITGC Testing and Evaluation
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT General Controls such as: Access Controls, Change Management, IT Operations
* ReSA-Specific Audit Procedures:
* Evaluate the integrity of sales data, Audit (ReSA) data interface controls, Evaluate automated reconciliation processes
* SOX Compliance
* Control Design and Documentation
* Issue Identification and Remediation
* Compliance and Security Reviews
* Audit Support and Reporting

4 must have functional skills:
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) module functionalities and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of ITGC frameworks
  • Experience with SOX 404, PCAOB standards, or other compliance frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Oracle database structures is a plus for control testing
4 must have soft skills:
  • Collaborative/Teamwork
  • Self-Starter/Work Autonomously
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or similar,MBA preferred
  • Systems - Advanced Oracle, specifically in Retail Sales
  • Solutions-oriented and highly engaged
  • Professional written and verbal communication, ability to communicate cross-functionally and at an executive level
  • Displayed ability to see business impacts of financial decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
