GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Manager - Finance will be responsible for leading the Strategic Alliance Program and Spend Approval Requests (SAR) process across North America Wholesale. This role will manage a team of analysts and managers, oversee the execution and compliance of strategic agreements, and ensure accurate and timely processing of financial obligations. The Senior Manager will drive financial modeling and reporting, while collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams to maintain program integrity and alignment with corporate goals. Additionally, the role will manage the SAR process, ensuring all OPEX and CAPEX requests align with strategic priorities, and support executive-level presentations that influence capital allocation decisions.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial reporting and analysis to support strategic partnerships and customer programs.
  • Oversee financial processes related to rebates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across business units.
  • Support the evaluation and execution of partnership agreements by providing financial insights and modeling.
  • Enhance tools and reporting systems to improve visibility into program performance and customer profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Pricing, Accounting, and Commercial to ensure alignment and data integrity.
  • Manage the Spend Approval Request (SAR) process, ensuring alignment with budgetary and strategic objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Lead or support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and strategic finance roles
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, OBIEE, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • High energy, self-motivated, eager to learn and grow
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Industry experience in optical, healthcare, or a related field is desirable
