About the Role: TEKsystems is looking for a curious and detail-oriented Chemical Analytics Engineer. In this role, you'll help enhance the quality of our chemical data systems and digitize critical reference materials. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing chemical hazards and promoting human and environmental health. You must be eligible to work without employment sponsorship! What You'll Do: * Clean and enrich chemical substance data (CSD), including tagging CAS numbers with structural chemical information for 3,000-5,000+ substances * Identify and resolve data outliers or anomalies, which may involve working with suppliers to validate and correct information * Digitize reference materials by extracting and tabulating chemical information from scientific literature * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across platforms What We're Looking For: * A background in chemistry, environmental science, chemical engineering, or a related field * Strong data analysis skills and comfort working with large datasets * Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for data integrity * Excellent problem-solving instincts and the confidence to ask questions or escalate unclear information * Familiarity with CAS registry numbers, molecular structures, or scientific literature is a plus * Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative mindset Skills Python, chemistry, tableau, pandas Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong written and oral communication, Project Management skills, and experience working with iOS tools Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
