*Professional Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Administrative Coordinator to support our radiology and health information teams. This role ensures smooth and timely management of medical records, prior imaging retrieval, and accurate data processing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), understand HIPAA guidelines thoroughly, and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.
*Key Responsibilities* * Review and complete a daily task checklist for consistent operations workflow * Follow work queues to retrieve prior imaging (e.g., X-rays) ahead of scheduled MRI appointments * Support radiology conferences by facilitating image and file preparation * Distribute relevant documentation and images to radiology technicians * Process and fulfill medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA and organizational protocols * File, audit, and maintain patient records and documentation accurately and efficiently * Perform high-volume data entry and process various healthcare-related paperwork * Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate information flow * Identify and address discrepancies in patient documentation or imaging records *Qualifications* *Must Have:* * Minimum 2 years of experience in Release of Information (ROI) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) administration * Proficient in EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms) * Strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance * High attention to detail and accuracy with documentation and data entry * Excellent communication and time management skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment *Nice to Have:* * Experience in Radiology * Familiarity with medical imaging workflows and terminology We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
