Patient Services Specialist Schedule: Monday-Friday (Onsite) Shift (Please read): Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Location: Kennebunk, ME Pay Rate: $18-20+/HR (Depending on Experience) About the Role: As a Patient Service Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. You will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, providing clear information about their visit, and assisting with scheduling future appointments both in person and over the phone. Key Responsibilities: * Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain visit procedures, and provide follow-up appointment details. * Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings and confirmations via phone and in-person. * Insurance & Billing: Verify insurance eligibility, obtain necessary authorizations, collect co-pays, and counsel patients on their financial responsibilities. * Documentation & Compliance: Prepare intake forms, maintain accurate records, and adhere to payment reconciliation protocols. * Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless patient service. * Environment Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients and staff. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
