Now Hiring: Service Technician - Fire, Access & CCTV Systems Location: Greater Nashville Area Client: TEKsystems's Client Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Vehicle Required: SUV or Pickup Truck (for first 6 months) Are you a hands-on technician who thrives in the field and enjoys solving problems independently? TEKsystems's client, a leading national security integrator, is looking for a Service Technician to support commercial and enterprise customers with fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. This is a field-based role where you'll manage your own weekly schedule, respond to service tickets, and deliver high-quality support across a variety of customer sites. What You'll Be Doing: * Troubleshooting and servicing fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems * Performing system testing, signal verification, and customer training * Handling new installations, upgrades, and system additions * Managing your own inventory and tools to stay field-ready * Documenting all work and service activity in a timely, professional manner What You Bring: * 1+ year of experience in fire alarm, access control, or CCTV systems * Working knowledge of enterprise intrusion systems, intercoms, and local/national codes * Ability to read blueprints and pull wire accurately * Strong customer service skills and a self-driven attitude * Valid driver's license, reliable transportation (SUV or pickup), and * All employees must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check Why Apply? * Work with a top-tier integrator on meaningful commercial projects * Enjoy autonomy in your daily schedule and service approach * Opportunity to convert to a full-time role after 6 months * Be part of a team that values technical excellence and customer satisfaction Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
