Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Harold and Inge Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, the first industrial engineering department in the world, is pleased to announce a search for (two) outstanding professional track hires with a start date of January 2026. The successful candidate may be hired at the Assistant, Associate or Full Teaching Professor level, depending on their qualifications. Specifically, the professional track academic rank will be commensurate with the successful candidate's background and experiences as specified in Penn State's AC21 policy. A PhD in Industrial Engineering or related field is required by the start date. The primary duties of the positions include resident and online instruction of undergraduate courses. If qualified, the individual may be required to teach professional-level graduate courses. The exact nature of your duties will be determined by the Department Head based on program needs. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, a Curriculum Vitae, a two-page teaching statement and a list of 3-5 references.
