Vehicle Requirement This Service Technician will need to drive their own vehicle-either an SUV or pickup-for the first 6 months. This role is a 6-month contract-to-hire (C2H) position. Role Overview The technician will work independently on service tickets for fire systems, access control, and cameras in commercial and enterprise environments. A weekly schedule will be provided, assigning service calls. Service Responsibilities * Provide reliable, high-quality customer support * Instruct customers on system operation and functionality * Conduct system testing and signal verification * Maintain truck stock and inventory (equipment and tools) * Install new systems, perform upgrades, and add system enhancements * Organize and use technical resources efficiently to complete assigned tasks * Track progress and ensure timely completion of work * Submit task-related documentation, productivity logs, and reports promptly * Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail * Assist with additional projects as needed Required Skills * CCTV * Security systems * Access control * Fire alarm systems * Service operations * Customer service * Installation and support * Alarm system installation Top Skills * CCTV * Security * Access control * Fire alarm systems * Service experience * Customer service Qualifications * High School Diploma or Vocational Training (minimum) * 1+ years of relevant experience * Proficient with enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercoms, and access control * Familiarity with local and national codes (preferred) * Ability to read drawings and pull wires as required * Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening Experience Level Intermediate Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
