Receives, stores, and issues supplies. Responsible for receiving and maintenance inventories, monitoring conformity to bid specifications and coordinating with management to assure accurate recharge system.

I. Major Responsibilities:

1. Receives and stores all food, supplies, chemicals and equipment. Issues food supplies to both the kitchen and cafeteria intra departmentally. Prioritizes items to be delivered to the patient floors and intra departmentally so that perishables are delivered in a timely manner.
2. Organizes, cleans and sanitizes all food and supply storage areas including but not limited to dry storage, refrigerators, freezers and equipment storage areas.
3. Monitors items for conformity to bid specifications, purchase orders and requisitions.
4. Recommends action to be taken regarding deficiencies, back orders, inconsistencies, substitutions or defects in delivered goods. Returns credit items in accordance with proper procedures.
5. Stocks all received goods in proper location, maintaining identification, date & rotation procedure. Follows HAACP guidelines as directed by management.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

1. Two years' experience as a Foodservice Worker or 6 months' experience as a storeroom helper in a food-related warehouse.
