How you'll make an impact:

The Director, People + Culture Business Partner (PCBP) will be responsible for providing high level HR business partner support to the technology organization. The individual will partner and collaborate with all areas of the People + Culture Department, assigned business units, and designated stakeholders to proactively and systematically solve team, manager, and employee improvement opportunities, and will assist in the execution of annual HR programs.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with designated business unit, providing HR counsel, guidance and expertise in the areas of:

    • Coaching and counseling managers and employees on all areas of performance management, work productivity and organization structure.

    • Employee related matters in compliance with federal and state employment laws; partnering with internal employment counsel as applicable.

    • Partnering with talent acquisition, compensation and hiring managers on all full-time, part-time, temporary or contingent needs.

    • Policy communication, enforcement, and education.

    • Headcount/workforce management.

    • Conducting exit interviews.

    • Supporting the annual compensation process.

  • Project manage multiple HR projects at a time

  • Data and analytics: reviewing/analyzing monthly and/or quarterly HR reporting relative to assigned groups; identify trends or concerns as needed; review for data integrity

  • Facilitate HR processes and policy communication and ensure compliance and operational excellence; recommend process improvement as applicable

  • Provide guidance and feedback on HR solutions and programs and assess impact to assigned business units

  • Monitor overall employee engagement, well-being and productivity for assigned business units.

  • Maintain awareness and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable state and federal employment laws

  • Manage partnerships with HR COEs (talent acquisition, compensation, DE&I, L&D, HR Ops)

  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

  • BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • 10+ years of experience as a HR business partner; strong HR generalist skills; some experience with coaching, counseling and influencing levels of management and appropriately balance management and employee needs.

  • Prior HR experience supporting global and/or highly matrixed organizations at scale

  • Prior experience supporting a technology organization required.

  • Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

  • Proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders

  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently.

  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively present data and analyses to a designated audience.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Strong coaching, conflict resolution and ability to have difficult conversations

  • Comfort with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through sophisticated problems, set priorities and complete commitments.

  • Strong HR knowledge including best practice benchmarking.

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite and Google suites

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills

  • Well-rounded business acumen.

  • Ability to effectively maintain and manage confidential information

  • Ability to work across US time zones as applicable.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $150,000 to $200,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
