We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Manager - Search and Content Marketing! This position is responsible for driving online conversion through development and execution of product and service content strategies in alignment with both short-term and long-term goals. The role leads Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives to generate demand and maximize the volume of inbound traffic from search engines to the TDS websites.

The Associate Manager - Search and Content Marketing is also responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of content strategies across all TDS websites. The incumbent will lead cross-departmental collaboration across multiple business units, to research and ideate (in partnership with public relations and creative services). The role requires an analytical and perceptive professional, who will also serve as the designated representative for the business unit in broader organizational initiatives.

Lead the creation of and manages content strategy plans to increase website traffic, conversion rates, and self-service support. Identify gaps in the marketing funnel, opportunities for new content and optimization of existing content. Develop processes to ensure consistent content reviews and improvement.
• Create and manage SEO strategy including the application of content and technical improvements, to increase search engine rankings and drive more traffic to TDS websites. Manage relationships with outside agencies, as well as own the relationship with TDS' external digital search vendor. Initiate keyword research projects and create dashboards representing both search rankings and website health.
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal departments as well as the TDS organization.
  • SME regarding the impact on the value and governance of the Organic and Paid Search channels.
  • Keep abreast and react accordingly to all organic search marketing trends.
  • Develop new ways to use the search channel for growth and retention.
  • Analyze competitor websites, Search Channel trends, Search Channel performance and understand best practices required to build successful optimization strategies.
• Act as business unit representative on website privacy and security initiatives. Work with internal departments on implementation of required privacy policy and security enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience.
• 4+ years' marketing or product management experience.
• 2+ years' experience with managing or creating website content.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with search engine marketing.
• Experience successfully working across an organization.
• Basic level of proficiency in HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with telecom services and technology.
• High level of organizational and planning skills.
• Knowledge of direct marketing and product management concepts and terminology.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with PC software applications.
• Thorough understanding of communications environment, products, and services.
