The team is part of the Controllers division specializing in managing global compensation expenses providing overall financial control and reporting functions. Also involved in various functions including assessing the proper compensation accounting treatment, reporting related financial results internally and externally, and projecting future expenses. The team offers analytical, strategic and regulatory compliance support, contributing directly to the firm's success. The role is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong work ethics and are attentive to details.

YOUR IMPACT
A successful candidate would utilize their skills across the full scope of compensation expense modeling and reporting. The candidate will be working with a managed data environment, reporting information to senior leadership and assisting in resolving business problems. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial data/reports primarily related to compensation expenses including share-based compensation, creating financial models, utilizing Excel to facilitate large data analysis, and thinking strategically to drive change.

They will also have a broad ranging role within the team including responsibility for a multi-year budget related to compensation expenses using the Anaplan platform. A successful candidate needs to have a strong attention to details and problem solving skills. The applicant should be inquisitive with a focus on learning. They will be interfacing with multiple teams within Corporate Controllers, including Controllers senior management. They will also work with other areas throughout the organization including HCM and Divisional CFO teams in an effort to achieve common goals. In addition, they should be able to meet tight deadlines, have a strong team focus, must be able to multi-task, manage ad-hoc requests and be flexible to change based on changing priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Technical



  • Experience working in Excel, Essbase and Tableau
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • 3-5 years' experience
  • Experience in Anaplan systems is a plus

  • Able to translate technical data to an operational and financial audience
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Articulate issues clearly and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
