Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144***The incumbent can be located anywhere within the KeyBank footprint (Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, and Washington)*** ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF) This role leverages client analytics and insights to formulate hypotheses that inform recommended business strategies. Presents hypotheses and recommended business opportunities and solutions to senior and executive leadership. The Consumer Consultant is responsible for developing and driving an educational plan based on field insights and ensures the execution of consumer client initiatives that are in accordance with business strategies. The Consumer Consultant researches external market trends and competitive data, informs business strategy design, and leads the coordination of support partner activities for complex medium to large size initiatives. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
COMPETENCIES Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business partner strategy; Financial acumen Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; beginning to develop ability to organize information in clear, consistent format; Capacity to develop ability to articulate a clear, thought-out message and formal delivery; Minimal skills in creating PowerPoint presentations Leadership: Able to work independently under general direction / supervision Partnering / Influencing: Ability to build relationships, partner, and influence Critical Thinking / Problem Solving: Developing critical thinking skills; Can analyze simple issues with low complexity; Can give perspective to the team addressing basic business/analytical problems and challenges; Recognizes need to escalate issues in a timely manner Process Management: Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done; knows how to organize people and activities; understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow; knows what to measure and how to measure it; can see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can't; can simplify complex processes; gets more out of fewer resources. Planning: Accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects; sets objectives and goals; breaks down work into the process steps; develops schedules and task/people assignments; anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks; measures performance again goals; evaluates results. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $100,000 to $125,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
