We're looking for an inspiringAssistant Deanto join our academic leadership team and help shape the future of student success and faculty excellence. In this role, you'll lead with purpose-supporting faculty, enhancing curriculum delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our programs are delivered with consistency, quality, and care, all while helping students thrive. What You'll Do
- Lead and Inspire: Provide strategic guidance and day-to-day support to faculty, ensuring high-quality instruction and student engagement.
- Recruit and Develop Talent: Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, hire, and onboard exceptional faculty. Deliver impactful orientation and ongoing professional development.
- Coach for Success: Offer regular feedback, mentorship, and performance evaluations to help faculty grow and excel.
- Ensure Academic Excellence: Monitor course quality, faculty credentials, and compliance with academic standards and accreditation requirements.
- Support Student Outcomes: Collaborate with Student Services to address student concerns, promote retention, and resolve academic issues.
- Foster Collaboration: Lead regular faculty meetings, encourage open communication, and support curriculum planning and evaluation.
- Leverage Data: Collect and analyze key metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion Innovation: Contribute to academic planning, budgeting, and the implementation of new initiatives that enhance the student and faculty experience.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate degree in the program field (required for graduate programs)
- Master's degree in the program field (required for undergraduate programs)
Experience:
- 2+ years in education, training, or staff development at the baccalaureate level or higher
- 1+ year of online teaching experience
- Previous leadership experience in an academic or training environment
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency with online instructional technology and Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with faculty, students, and staff at all levels
- A strong customer service orientation and commitment to student success
- Comfort with using a variety of technology platforms and tools
Licensure/Certification:
- In programs requiring licensure or certification for practice, the appropriate license and/or certification is required
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,696.34 and $127,957.05. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
