FlexStaff is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare billing and claims management? This is a TEMP to PERM position Responsibilities: - Manage and streamline accounts receivable processes for our innovative orthotics and prosthetics practice. - Prepare, verify, and record customer payments with precision. - Investigate and resolve denied claims swiftly to maximize revenue. - Handle commercial and Medicaid claims across all aging buckets-posting, appeals, and ADRs. - Review electronic and paper EOBs, identify denials, and take decisive action. - Pursue delinquent accounts and coordinate collections efforts. - Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical records, and internal teams to ensure smooth claim resolutions. - Generate weekly reports to keep management informed of account statuses. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain strict confidentiality. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical billing, AR management, or related healthcare finance roles. - Deep knowledge of medical insurance, billing guidelines, and compliance standards. - Experience with orthotics and prosthetics billing highly preferred. - Proficiency with practice management software such as Waystar, OPIE, Medflex, and familiarity with NY Medicaid & CT Medicaid portals. - Skilled in navigating ePaces portal and handling billing/AR claims. - Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. - Bilingual in Spanish? That's a plus! - High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred. - At least 2+ years in a healthcare setting, specifically working with billing and AR. - Experience in orthotics & prosthetics is a must. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
