- Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled student) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Schedule & Work Model: This is a hybrid position, requiring days per quarter onsite at our corporate office at 500 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY as needed.

Responsibilities
Junior Treasury Analyst
- Maintain all processes/procedures document updates, maintain banking relationships, PCI compliance, Key Merchant Service analysis statements, Bento, Custodian Escrow Security Deposit accounts, bank account analysis statements/reconciliation analysis.
- Prepares daily cash position reporting and funding of all accounts Manages monthly outstanding check balances and make adjustments to cash reporting as needed
- Navigates through various banking portals to monitor account balances, exceptions, ACH debits
- Administers banking portal access for new users; checks scanning equipment and credit card processors
- Manage all opening/closing documents on new accounts and bank account closures. Maintain all signatories as needed.
- Communicates with various banks for inquiries, account openings/closures, administration, troubleshooting, etc.
- Works cohesively with neighboring departments to meet closing deadlines and resolve outstanding issues.
- Maintains positive relationship with facilities to ensure the best possible service is provided.
- Creating Entity TIN/EIN identification number with the IRS
- Onboards acquisitions to include banking operations, creation of cash flows, implementation into current reporting, etc.
- Accurately executes and enters 3rd-party and inter-company transactions, daily wires/ach payments, covers weekly payroll and check runs, monthly rent payments, debt service payments and required transfers; ensures funds are available.
- Records and manually post all bank transfers within accounting system (e.g. Great Plains).
- Prepares and submits daily positive paycheck & ACH files to lenders and manages all exceptions.
- Manage ad hoc projects
- Manages Resident Fund Management Service (RFMS) documents, account set up within RFMS, signers and flow of funds.
- Prepares monthly borrowing base certificates (BBC's).
Qualifications
Junior Treasury Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree perferred; candidate may also be actively enrolled in Bachelor's degree program (Accounting, Finance or related degree)
