Job Description

The E&H Pursuit Coordinator with a focus on our sector-based key accounts provides strategic support for higher-value, complex proposal pursuits, in relation to target key client opportunities. This role requires deep experience in proposal strategy, content development, and internal coordination to influence win strategies and elevate client engagement. Pursuit Coordinators are trusted partners to business area leadership and play an active role supporting process improvement and helping define key account positioning. They work across business areas and geographies to ensure consistent, high-quality pursuit execution that aligns with long-term growth goals for our key client accounts.

As a new E&H Pursuit Coordinator, you will be part of our E&H Strategic Pursuits Sales & Tender team. The team focuses on E&H strategic competitive opportunities across the 20+ countries with E&H operations, helping to secure strategic new business. This positions has a direct reporting line to the E&H Sales & Tender Strategic Pursuits Manager and will work extensive with specific E&H sector leaders, E&H target client account managers as well as technical practitioners to help support strategic pursuits from initial development of the opportunity through to bidding and securing the win, with a primary focus on necessary bid documents at the RFI/RFP stages with support of other E&H Sales & Tender Team members as needed. This role will include liaising with other bid support teams, where they exist, to innovate and advance best practice. Our vision is that you will be part of a core E&H Commercial team who work with technical practitioners across E&H to deliver bidding excellence, helping increase our win rate and the client-centricity of our bids, threading in sustainable thinking wherever of client value.

Our vision for the Sales & Tender team is to create a central team who work together to deliver bidding excellence and help us win more, better. The team will work directly on our most important strategic bids, but at the same time build a centre of excellence- the 'go to' place for all our bids where everyone preparing bids/tenders have access to our best material. The job role will be key to achieving success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and help drive major E&H pursuit and proposal teams from start-to-finish, enhancing project win rates with a focus on specific sector key accounts
  • Actively update, promote, and improve Ramboll systems and processes related to internal client experience, including:
    • Ramboll's client relationship management (CRM) database for E&H target clients.
    • E&H's resume and project database.
    • E&H marketing content library.
    • Performing market research to support E&H target clients and sector strategies.
    • Providing support, guidance, and training to E&H employees on marketing-related topics.
  • Play an active role in E&H market initiatives and the key account team to support winning-work strategy development.
  • Develop and maintain new E&H sector and key account-specific content, templates, and qualifications.
  • Provide updates on E&H target client-related activities during regular account meetings and manage associated tasks and deadlines.
  • Manage E&H-led client procurement portal maintenance and updates for specific key accounts.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and presentations for E&H-led account strategy meetings. Attend and guide meetings.
  • Support the E&H Governance and implementation of the Ramboll Project Model and Decision Gates (DGs) for specific opportunities, including development of supporting material for DGs and adding to the Project Integration Tool (PIT) and CRM, where needed.
  • Lead bid scheduling and schedule adherence, including key stage technical and commercial reviews. Arrange regular status calls with the technical team to ensure bid submission compliance, driving to early costing/commercial aspects to influence scope.
  • Support development of Pursuit Win Plans, where appropriate, including crafting of core Value Propositions and sales messaging in the bid to generate a winning position.
  • Support opportunity and bid pursuits, providing technical and commercial inputs, graphics and text design, and ensuring consistency and quality of content.
  • Prepare and perform quality control on bid documents (including project descriptions and CVs/bio-sketches) and targeted client sector/service line specific capability statements using software such as PowerPoint and Word, applying graphic design skills where relevant, in support of strategic pursuits - including template style and layout, infographics, diagrams and images that support articulating the Ramboll value proposition.
  • Prepare preliminary responses to standard questions in RFIs/RFPs relating to Ramboll's capability and experience for input, review and approval by the relevant technical lead.
  • Ensure that proposal materials meet client needs and are compliant with tender specification requirements.
  • Liaise with E&H bid team colleagues in other regions and in other Ramboll businesses (GBAs) to share best practice and keep abreast of changes to Ramboll Brand requirements and developing thematic materials / templates in our areas of strategic focus.
Qualifications

Technical qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, business, communications, or related field) plus 5-7 years of experience; or a Master's degree plus 3-5 years of experience.
  • Advanced writing, editing, and proposal management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of the AEC industry and consulting-based business models.
  • Ability to analyse RFPs and lead development of strategic, customized responses.
  • Skilled in organizing large-scale proposal efforts across multiple teams and contributors.
  • Experience in the high-tech sector and with multinational clients is a plus

Salary Transparency Statement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $105,000 to $146,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
