The School of Medicine Office of Research, co-led by the Vice Dean for Basic Science Research and the Vice Dean for Clinical Research, oversees all basic science, clinical and translational research activities in the School of Medicine. This position would report to the Research Operations Manager, involved in projects, policies, and initiatives related to basic, clinical, and translational research. https://medschool.uci.edu/research/office-research. Your Role on the Team Under the general direction and in support of the Research Operations Manager, Director of Research Operations, the Assistant Dean of Research Operations, and the Vice Deans for Research, the Project Manager will support the School of Medicine on operational and strategic initiatives concerning research. Serves as support for research operations, in such areas as analysis of the School's research programs, infrastructure and funding portfolio, and related communications. Will be responsible for general support as well as end-to-end execution of specific projects. The incumbent will coordinate, review, and process materials and information and facilitate collaborations across the organization. This position will be responsible for coordinating calendars and meetings for a variety of projects with the Research Team as well as the task coordination of various projects including on campus vendors, core facilities, award submissions, and our internal undergraduate research program. This position will also provide event support in various events related to research. What It Takes to be Successful Required:
