Director of Performance Improvement

The Director of Performance Improvement directs all Performance Improvement defines, implements, evaluates, and ensures revisions of the Performance Improvement Plan are completed as needed incorporating departmental quality control, regulatory accreditation requirements and based on facility's mission, vision, and strategic plan. Follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Program, as applicable to role and responsibilities.


Qualifications

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university required; A Master's Degree (M.A.) preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably acute care/behavioral health hospital setting.

Certifications/Licensure

  • None; Must have current knowledge of regulatory requirements and accrediting standards.

Language Skills

  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
