As an Insights Solutions Partner II on the Global Insights and Strategy team, you will help design and execute analyses to help stakeholders succeed on Pinterest. These projects will teach advertisers and creators about their customers and categories on Pinterest and give recommendations for ad targeting, keywords, and creative. You will create insights that help marketers understand their opportunity on Pinterest and plan their media campaigns based on data and predictive recommendations.

As an Insights Solutions Partner II, you will be responsible for understanding business priorities and developing content that contribute to Sales-led revenue and/or deepen strategic advertiser partnerships through custom insights analysis. Working closely with Sales leaders to identify the most significant questions posed by advertisers that can be addressed through data and research, you will ideate and execute insights research projects leveraging internal behavioral data analysis, qualitative/quantitative studies, and syndicated research integration. You will distill findings to actionable recommendations and compelling insights stories.


What you'll do:



  • Design and execute analysis of first party platform data to make recommendations that impact advertisers' business objectives on Pinterest for key industries (e.g. Retail, CPG, Travel, Tech/Telco, Financial Services)
  • As a complement to first party data findings, analyze third party syndicated data sources (comScore, GlobalWebIndex, Mintel) for industry perspectives
  • Translate data into compelling, actionable narratives that factor in unique stakeholder input and business questions
  • Work with key Sales and XFN stakeholders to plan projects and follow through on final output
  • Builds and manages stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective relationships
  • Work as a contributing member with Insights Strategy colleagues to tell holistic and compelling stories around a wide range of business opportunities on Pinterest
  • You will reinforce that Insights at Pinterest is a marketplace differentiator based on the powerful intent-driven signals of our consumer



What we're looking for:



  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Insights, Sales enablement, or marketing
  • 3+ years in designing and leading insights deliverables using 1st and third-party data
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales stakeholders in the digital/ media/ advertising industry
  • Capable of data querying and manipulation in SQL; additional scripting language experience such as R or Python and/or experience with Jupyter is a plus
  • Experience building slide presentations in Google Slides; demonstrated interest in data visualization is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to use data storytelling to craft engaging and actionable insights for a variety of professional audiences
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating data-backed storytelling skills, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized yet engaging manner
  • Ability to connect data analysis to real business questions/objectives in order to impact business decisions
  • Experience in the digital space required; social media, or advertising industry a plus
  • Experience working quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong ability to work cross-functionally as well as independently
  • An understanding of and passion for Pinterest
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, or equivalent experience



In-Office Requirement Statement:



  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration approximately 1x per quarter and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: New York, New York, or Chicago, Illinois.
