Position Description
Responsible for the receipt, storage, issue, transfer and delivery functions of stock and non-stock material for Transmission/Distribution Operations, Generation, and the Corporate Community. Ensures all stock and stocking areas are identified, organized, and maintained in a uniform and safe manner.
Essential Job Tasks:
Picks, prepares, and delivers issue and transfer material by scheduled customer date. Ensures outgoing material is accurate, complete, labeled, and securely packaged. Delivers materials to outlying locations as necessary. Receives, inspects, processes, and places in inventory all incoming stock material. Electronically notifies customer of all non-stock receipts. Processes discrepancies and notifies appropriate requisitioner, Distribution Forecast Analyst, or Buyer. Ensures receipts are processed within the same working day. Maintains inventory at a minimum 97.0% item accuracy. Ensures inventory is received, stored, and issued based on FIFO inventory rotation; and appropriate housekeeping is maintained in all work and storage areas. Ensures all non-stock inventory is properly identified and labeled. Maintains working stock at inventory levels sufficient to accommodate historical usage. Generates and processes working stock replenishment orders using Operation's assigned activity based project and task number. Monitors fuel deliveries, dispensers and tanks for spills and leaks. Performs monthly Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Underground Storage Tank, Transformer, and Equipment leak inspections and retains the required documentation. Provides daily routine inspections as needed. Complete monthly fleet reports. Acts as back-up to the Senior Logistics and Inventory Control Specialist as needed to cover occasions when they are not available. Performs turnkey inventory control and warehousing functions at remote Transmission stocking locations. Generates material issue orders, pick tickets, processes all returns and approved disposals. Maintains item accuracy, working stock, and housekeeping standards established at the primary warehouse locations. Provides Job Site Deliveries to the Line Crews for critical needed items. Procures and/or requisitions non-stock material and services for Stores via Oracle Purchasing or P-card.

Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist A
High School Diploma/GED +5 years of experience or Associate's Degree +4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and stores within a computerized inventory environment required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows based PC applications. A valid driver's license and forklift operators certification is required. CDL - Class A required after 1 year of hire date.

$23.85 - $29.80 (min-mid)
Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist B
High School Diploma/GED +2 years of experience or Associate's Degree +1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, and stores within a computerized inventory environment required. CDL - Class A required after 1 year of hire date.
Compensation Information
$19.45 - $24.30 (min-mid)
Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist C
High School Diploma/GED required. CDL - Class A required after 1 year of hire date.
