Risk Senior Associate - Crop

The Opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to support the Crop Risk team in implementing and operationalizing the company's Risk Management Framework.

*Location: Ramsey, MN, Fresno, CA, Woodland, CA, Council Bluffs, IA, Topeka, KS or Missoula, MT

*Work Arrangement: This role will require 12 days/month in one of our offices listed above. The hours for this role are 7:30am-4:15pm CST Monday through Thursday, and 7:30am-12pm CST on Fridays

*The starting salary range for this role is between $26.50/hour and $44.00/hour depending on location and experience

Your New Role:

• Establish and maintain efficient relationships between Risk & Compliance teams and Business Units to help promote a strong risk culture.
• Assist management with drafting incidents and issues they have identified; provide guidance and support in determining impact, cause, and remediation actions prior to recording in Insight, the risk management platform.
• Regularly update and monitor active incidents and issues in Insight, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Actively participate in Crop's Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) annual reviews and control testing.
• Provide risk information as requested from auditors and regulators.
• Undertake special investigations and projects when required.
• Analyze incidents, issues, and Key Risk Indicator trends.
• Collaborate internally and externally to deliver excellent customer service.

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

• Effective communicator (written, verbal and listening).
• Ability to work across all levels of management.
• Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

• Crop Finance, Underwriting, Compliance, and/or Claims.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

Secondary school certification.

Preferred Qualifications include:

Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience.
