Position Overview:

As the Director of treasury Management Ops, you will leverage your deep treasury expertise to provide guidance to the Peapack Private Treasury Management Operations team and deliver technical support to a broad portfolio of business clients.

Our suite of system products includes, but is not limited to, online and mobile banking applications, wire and ACH payments, positive pay, remote deposit capture, bill pay, and balance and transaction reporting.

In this fast-paced role, you will also act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders-including Peapack Private Bankers, Treasury Sales, Fraud Prevention, Compliance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires responsiveness, professionalism, clear communication, and proven experience in team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

The Director of treasury Management Ops is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of client onboarding, training, and ongoing service delivery related to Treasury Management (TMO).



  • Oversee all Treasury Management client system administrator online system training for all systems and products.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of cash management services to meet client's treasury management requirements.
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance, support, and effectiveness of treasury management operational support for business banking clients.
  • Oversee the implementation all procedures related to client verification when adjusting existing service levels, resetting accounts or adding new services or products.
  • Make recommendations on functional and technical aspects of treasury management products, service plan design and implementation.
  • Work with TMO and other areas of the bank to design and roll-out new Treasury Management products and services.
  • Ensures that all client requests are processed efficiently and are completed within established service level timelines.
  • Collaborate with: Treasury Management Sales, the Platinum Service Center, Commercial Bankers, and Community Private Bankers to ensure superior service levels during the onboarding process, completion of client requests and problem resolution.
  • Ensure TMO staff are properly educated and trained in the use of the relevant operating system(s) and desktop procedures.
  • Provides guidance and direction for the development and adherence to operational policies, processes, procedures and controls and monitoring for quality assurance.
  • Ensure quality levels of support are provided to C&I, CRE and Community Private Bankers.
  • Ensure departmental adherence with federal and state banking regulations and internal audit requirements.
  • Ensure proper communication channels and reporting are in place with other related department heads (e.g. TM Pipeline and Onboarding Status).
  • Function with 'continuous improvement' philosophy capturing client feedback and enhancing our internal processes and procedures to improve overall service delivery.
  • Support the data migration, system conversion, and new product build for all cash management as deemed necessary.
  • Ensures project/department milestones and goals are met and adhered to approved budgets.

Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree -or- related field experience preferred.
  • A minimum 10 years of experience with working knowledge of banking or financial institution
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury Management Operations and/or Cash Management Product experience.
  • Management experience. Team size 10+ members.
  • Knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with clients and personnel of other departments within the Bank.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC; specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook.
