Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial Finance Organization

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support our North America Reference Labs commercial business. This role performs a variety of financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, reconciliation and other related financial activities while partnering with lines of business to provide financial consulting, advice and support. Strong collaboration and communication are key to success.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Build a comprehensive revenue plan for North America, including identifying all drivers of growth and their contribution to the business.
  • Partner with line of business by providing financial business tools, dashboards and reports for timely decision-making.
  • Participate in the monthly close process which includes comparing actual performance to the latest financial outlook and reviewing accuracy of revenue results and underlying customer dynamics.
  • Participate in the strategic planning, annual budget, and quarterly forecast process
  • Develop various analyses, reports and presentations; performs ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis and modeling and special project support as needed, largely around revenue and customer-level performance.
  • Support business decisions including analysis for marketing programs, new product development and acquisitions.
  • Identify and implement processes and improvements in planning, analysis and reporting. This includes leveraging information technology (SQL, Python, etc.) to automate, streamline, and integrate processes.
  • Work with multiple systems including SAP, EPM (SAP Excel Add-on), Snow Flake and Business Intelligence (formerly Business Objects)

What You Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-yrs relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Excel & PowerPoint.

This position is hybrid with a minimum of 8 days per month on site at the Global Campus in Westbrook, ME.
