Overview

The Vice President of Total Rewards is a strategic HR leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This role ensures alignment with the company's business objectives, culture, and values while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership



  • Develop and lead the global total rewards strategy, including broad-based pay, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align rewards strategies with business goals and talent priorities; set, engage and champion functional objectives though partnership with senior leadership.
  • Create executive-level presentations on recommendations and proposals to seek approval on annual total rewards spend (i.e, benefits open enrollment, annual compensation planning), supported by external market data/trends


Next Generation Compensation Philosophy



  • Oversee the design and administration of base pay, incentive plans, equity programs, and job architecture informed by AI/ML
  • Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including merit, bonus, and equity reviews.
  • Strengthen Compensation Teams role as a strategic partner, ensuring agility in responding to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales operations and sales leadership to understand business objectives and tailor compensation strategies to support sales growth and profitability.
  • Review and design comprehensive sales compensation plans that align with the company's strategic goals and drive desired sales behaviors.
  • Develop and manage incentive programs including commission structures, bonuses and other performance-based rewards to motivate and retain top sales talent
  • Analyze sales performance data to ensure compensation plan are effective, competitive and aligned with market trends.


Benefits Innovation & Well-Being



  • Manage health, retirement, and wellness programs to support employee well-being and cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and enhance benefit offerings based on employee needs and market trends.
  • Rethink traditional benefits by introducing flexible, inclusive offerings that support diverse employee needs-across generations, identities, and life stages.
  • Advance mental health, caregiver support, and holistic well-being initiatives.
  • Leverage AI-driven platforms to optimize plan design and cost forecasting.


People Analytics, Compliance, & Technology Enablement



  • Ensure compliance with SEC, IRS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA, GDPR).


Team Leadership



  • Lead and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in total rewards including 5+ years of strategic leadership experience, preferably including executive compensation
  • Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and best practices and awareness of market trends
  • Strong strategic mindset; excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Alignment with Myriad Values and demonstrated ability to address conflict in a constructive, collaborative way.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and is exceptionally adaptable and flexible
  • Experience working with HRIS and compensation tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer).
  • CCP a plus.
