As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will also respond to alarms, assist with badge access issues, and deliver exceptional customer service to everyone on site. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
