GENERAL SUMMARY:

As a member of the HR department's business operation, and under the direction and guidance of the HR Leader and/or HR Business Partner team, the Business Partner Analyst provides assistance to the HR team members and leadership in the areas of data analysis, strategic planning, consulting, coaching/mentoring, relationship management, employee engagement, safety and workforce planning.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Works collaboratively with Business Partners to incorporate HR expertise to support and maximize departmental performance and organizational objectives.
  • Provides insightful analysis of HR metrics and other business unit information to make recommendations and implement initiatives around retention, engagement, staffing and safety.
  • Under the direction and guidance of the HR team, resolves employee relation issues, matters of particular sensitivity, risk, or compliance management.
  • Builds effective working relationships with members of business unit leadership and staff in assigned areas.
  • Partners with leadership to understand current and future staffing needs. Works closely with Talent Selection to ensure department workforce plans of current and future staffing needs are met.
  • Provides on-going updates to leadership and employees regarding system-wide HR initiatives.
  • Assists with the creation and implementation of new and existing HR policies and procedures.
  • Provides data necessary for market reviews in collaboration with the HR BP team
  • Participates on business unit teams around CUSP, LEAN, Employee/Patient Rounding and Safety.
  • Acts as main contact for assigned departments, triaging requests to appropriate HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Attends and actively participates in conferences, educational programs/workshops and job shadows to further develop HR BP skills.
  • Participates on assigned projects as needed.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of at least one year of applicable experience in human resources, business operations, or management or completion of a formal Human Resources internship program from an accredited university.
