Mgr-IT Security Operations

Lead the Security Operations function to ensure continuous monitoring, detection and rapid response to cyber threats, safeguarding the organization's technology environment and critical assets.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage, lead and develop a professional security operations staff, defining vision, operating mode, tooling strategy and structure
2. Establish and scale the Security Operations function, defining vision, operating model, tooling strategy and team structure
3. Lead implementation and day-to-day operation of core security monitoring tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and threat intelligence platforms
4. Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC), overseeing incident detection, triage, investigation, and escalation
5. Develop and maintain operational playbooks and automation to accelerate threat detection and response
6. Drive continuous improvement through threat hunting, advanced analytics and incident trend analysis
7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Five (5) years of systems development experience, including programming and technical project leadership. Experience in both mainframe and client/server environments.
* Proven expertise managing Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and security monitoring platforms
* Strong knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies relevant to freight and logistics sectors
* Experience with cloud security monitoring, endpoint detection and response (EDR), network security and threat intelligence integration
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
