POSITION SUMMARY:


As Quality Manager, you are responsible to work with project teams to provide knowledge and expertise.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Establish and implement quality practices
  • Establish commissioning best practices, procedures, and processes for projects
  • Perform design reviews of systems on construction markets including mission critical, healthcare, higher ed, industrial, manufacturing, retail, life sciences, and K-12
  • Prepare commissioning plans and reports
  • Oversee and audit the inspection and test plans
  • Oversee the startup, commissioning, and owner training for major equipment
  • Attend relevant national conferences and earn credentials
  • Lead the troubleshooting of issues
  • Work with the project team to prepare preliminary schedules, site logistic plans and budgets as needed
  • Interface with Owner and Engineers as needed
  • Work with project team to compile qualified subcontractor lists
  • Perform pre-installation meetings
  • Assist in the process of supplementing project BIM models with pertinent facilities management and commissioning information for client turnover



POSITION REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES:



  • BS in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferred
  • Minimum 7+ years hands-on experience in the construction industry
  • Engineer in Training (i.e., passed FE exam), preferred



POSITION SKILLS:



  • Aptness to manage multiple jobs concurrently
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, in order to interact well with all levels of the organization from leadership to trades
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work equally well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Familiar with relevant technology and software
