The Data Management II (DM II) is responsible for supporting the overall data health and integrity of the University Advancement database. The DM II conducts data audits to identify pertinent data entry concerns. The DM II retrieves, analyzes, and interprets data along with assisting in developing and maintaining procedures to improve data quality integrity and data administration. The position is responsible for providing training and support to University Advancement staff and the university community related to data entry and confidentiality. Additionally, the DM II develops data imports to integrate data from other systems into the University Advancement database; works on developing processes to automate current processes. Retrieves, analyzes, and interprets data along with assisting in developing and maintaining procedures to improve data quality integrity and data administration. Analyzes data to identify data entry discrepancies. Conducts quality control and conducts regular audits and metrics to ensure data integrity. Addresses data quality issues with users. Researches and corrects any problems with data entry. Coordinates and manages data cleanup projects. Conducts global data scrubs for the University Advancement database and data segmentations as needed. Creates queries to extract information from the University Advancement database. Coordinates data collection with units/colleges/schools and fundraising professionals. Conducts data imports as needed for data integrity. Develops data imports to integrate data from other systems into the University Advancement database. Responsible for implementing, updating, and documenting policies/procedures relating to data entry standards, reporting, queries, and/or any database management action for related tasks and projects. Exercises a high degree of professionalism given the needs of confidentiality of data for extensive interactions with clients and other offices. Develops processes to automate current processes such as data request and reports Makes recommendations to management based on conversations with users on how to provide information to our clients that help them in their business efforts. Participates in the Data Integrity Task Force. Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience with fundraising database i.e., Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge software, report writing, queries, imports, exports, global ads, and global changes. Desired Qualifications
Experience handling data, data integration tools/software (OmaticCloud, etc.), data cleaning and validation while supporting data-driven operations. Knowledge of fundraising CRMs and general understanding of APIs as well as Microsoft Power Platform. Job Category
