Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is hiring a Press Operator to help run high-quality print jobs on complex, multi-color press equipment. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and like to keep things running smoothly, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

  • Follow job order instructions to set up and run press equipment accurately

  • Keep an eye out for any errors and correct them quickly to keep production on track

  • Set up and adjust press settings to match job specs

  • Watch for quality throughout the run-checking for detail, color, and consistency

  • Monitor the equipment while it's running and call in maintenance if needed

  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning to keep things in top shape

  • Stick to production goals for speed, quality, and waste

  • Follow all safety procedures and keep your area clean and organized for the next shift

  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and logs

Your Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00pm - 6:00am

What You'll Need:

  • A mechanical mindset and some technical know-how

  • Basic math skills-you should be comfortable using a ruler and doing simple calculations for label sizes and material use

  • The ability to learn how to run the equipment and meet quality and production goals

  • You can follow both written and verbal instructions without issue

  • Clear, professional communication skills

  • A sharp eye for detail-accuracy matters in this role

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Experience in a production related environment
  • High school education or equivalent
