This position will strategically manage a portion of the Practice Management accounting functions for a number of Network practices. The primary focus of this role is working with the Director, Accounting Managers, Senior Accountants, and Controllers to provide operational excellence, efficiency, and first-class customer service while managing month end close and controls-related activities. To be successful the candidate needs to be able to influence and persuade stakeholders throughout the organization and must both embrace and expect excellence with an enterprise-first mindset. Another main aspect of the role is to focus on team management and talent development to build strong bench strength for future McKesson leaders. The candidate must be a talent champion, true believer in team development and empowerment, and be able to create a team atmosphere of continuous improvement to exceed the expected results. The essential skill requirements of this role are empowering the team, facilitating an environment encouraging change through processes and finance transformation to redefine and raise the level of excellence across the enterprise. Driving value and ensuring accuracy over precision in all areas is key with this people leader and high-profile role.
