Teaching responsibilities will include general chemistry, lower division laboratory courses, upper division courses in their subdiscipline and courses in the University curriculum. This position carries the expectation of developing a sustainable research program involving undergraduate students in any field of experimental chemistry. Interdisciplinary research is welcome. This research program will directly support the goal of experiential learning that is fundamental to the mission of the University. The successful applicants will have a demonstrated desire to be a teacher-scholar. They will show a strong potential to contribute to teaching, research and evidence that they will positively engage with the university and department. Teaching responsibilities will include biochemistry (both lecture and laboratory) general chemistry, lower division laboratory courses, and courses in the University curriculum. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Required: Ph.D. in Chemistry/Biochemistry (or related field) EXPERIENCE Required: Postdoctoral research experience (or equivalent experience) ATTENDANCE Maintaining and satisfying minimum on-site attendance (classroom and office hours attendance) is an essential function of this position.
