Director of eCommerce Analytics, CRM, and New Digital Business Development

Job Summary

The Director of eCommerce Analytics, CRM, and New Digital Business Development is a strategic and analytical leader responsible for driving online revenue growth through deep data analysis, targeted customer engagement, and the identification of new digital business opportunities. This role oversees eCommerce performance reporting, leads CRM initiatives to optimize customer lifecycle value, and scouts and executes new business development opportunities to expand the company's digital footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Leads team to create and maintain dashboards and KPIs for monitoring eCommerce performance (traffic, conversion rate, AOV, ROAS). Provide insights from the data and presents to cross functional team to improve overall business
  • Manage and analyze customer behavior, product trends, marketing campaign performance, and channel attribution. Lead insights and actions on Cost of customer acquisition, Life Time Value and Customer file growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and UX teams to deliver insights and recommendations that improve digital conversion rates and retention
  • Manage the Loyalty program for our Ecommerce and Store channels. Own the CRM strategy and customer database management across email, SMS, loyalty, and personalization platforms
  • Oversee segmentation strategies to tailor communication and promotions to specific customer cohorts. Develop and optimize customer lifecycle programs including onboarding, reactivation, and win-back campaigns. Build sales in New to File, repeat purchase and lapsed purchases
  • Partner with Martech teams to improve personalization and automation initiatives. Provide Analytics on Marketing and Site A/B testing
  • Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for digital revenue growth (e.g., marketplaces, partnerships, subscription models, DTC expansion). Lead cross-functional go-to-market strategies for new business initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive and market landscape analysis to inform decision-making. Assess and build business cases for new digital selling channels, platforms, or services.

Leadership

  • The Director Role will be a key strategist that will work cross functionally to drive improvement on our website
  • They will lead three teams (Analytics, CRM and New Business Development) 6-10 employees
  • They will provide leadership to the team in their career development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento) understanding of core e-commerce Loyalty, email and SMS
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM platforms (Salesforce and Marigold) .
  • 6-10+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital analytics, CRM, or business development roles
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to build business models and ROI cases.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
