Genesis10 is currently seeking a macOS Systems Support Engineer for a 12 month contract role with our client in the healthcare industry in Jacksonville, FL. Note: This position is mostly remote, but there may be occasional requests for on-site support at the Jacksonville campus. Candidates must reside within 70 miles of the Jacksonville campus and be able to commute when needed. Position Overview: We are seeking a macOS Support Engineer to join our Jacksonville-based Mac team. This role will support and maintain macOS hardware and software systems across multiple Client sites. You will work closely with IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and ensure smooth system performance. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain macOS hardware and software systems Monitor and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques Collaborate with vendors and external support teams during escalations and outages Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of system software and configurations Assist with capacity planning and system performance monitoring Maintain documentation for system requirements, configurations, and support plans Build strong working relationships across IT teams and project stakeholders Required Skills: Proficient in macOS basics (user accounts, file permissions, security settings) Comfortable using Terminal and writing shell scripts Experience with device management profiles and understanding of plists Strong troubleshooting skills with macOS hardware and Jamf Pro (MDM) Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field OR Associate degree + 3 years of technical experience OR High school diploma + 5 years of IT experience in a large enterprise environment Compensation: Hourly W2 pay: $40.00 to $40.00/hour We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
